About Jennifer

A Regal Affair was founded by Jennifer Ramirez-Jasiczek in 2003. Jennifer is one of Texas' most sought after event planners serving clients all over Texas and beyond.

Jennifer dabbled in event planning years earlier as she began creating custom invitations with papers from around the world after her own wedding in the mid 90's. Her husband's native Thailand introduced her to the world of hand made papers and her creative outlet was born. Her creativity, along with her cool-as-a-cucumber demeanor and highly organized work ethic made the jump to full-scale event planning a natural transition in 2003.

She attended University of Dallas in Irving, Texas including a semester in Rome, Italy and a summer program in Barcelona, Spain. She then moved to San Antonio and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from San Antonio's Saint Mary's University and a Master of Science in Biology from Angelo State University. The summer after undergrad, Jennifer volunteered at Mission Road Ministries and her new passion was born. She attended Medical School for two years before leaving for her dream job - working with people with disabilities. As a director of programs for persons with disabilities, Jennifer became a master of crisis management and interpersonal relationships. Always a leader and never a follower, Jennifer worked in small and large firms who served people with disabilities. She was sought after all over the state of Texas and also began programs in Tennessee, Florida and Nevada. After nine years, she left corporate America and began A Regal Affair and has not looked back. Her passion for community service, especially the under-served population in Texas has never left her heart and she continues her philanthropy through pro-bono event planning services and donations for many of San Antonio and Texas' non-profit organizations. Some of those organizations are Eva's Heroes, Mission Road Ministries, and the San Antonio Rape Crisis Center and countless other organizations in the community.

Her work has been published in local and national wedding & event magazines and websites and is the go-to planner for a Texas couple looking to plan an event in another country. Her 2006 expansion into destination locations has taken her to Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Lake Como, Venice, Anguilla, all over Mexico and countless domestic locations.

Recently, she worked with the First Lady of Texas, Anita Perry to raise funds for three organizations. The Partners for Change event was the first of its kind. A collaboration of three non-profits, the local Rape Crisis Center, TAASA - Texas Association Against Sexual Assault and RAINN - the Rape Abuse Incest Neglect Network. The event netted just shy of $100k. This is quite the accomplishment for first time fundraiser of it's kind.

2008 she devoted her free time to Mission Road Ministries and their event netted over $440,000 in December 08 in the midst of a recession. 2009's local charity of choice is ChildSafe and their first ever Art for the Heart event was a huge success.

2009-2012 has seen her service to others continue to grow including Accessability Fest, Boysville, and many more. She currently in her free time runs the Titanium Rib Foundation all the while maintaining a high level of service to her clientele.
