Think they might pop the question?

As a wedding planner, I absolutely love this time of year—it’s engagement season! For some of us, it’s still wedding season too, which means we're all about celebrating love and big moments. And if you’ve been in a relationship for a while, there’s a chance this holiday season could be the one when your special someone asks you to marry them. So let’s make sure you’re prepared!

As a planner, I can’t help but think of every little detail. If you’re family or a close friend who’s in on the proposal, here’s my pro tip: Make sure they have their nails done!

Funny story: a few years back, my cousin C got engaged during the holidays on a solo trip with her now-husband. The whole family was in on it, but somehow her sisters never thought to schedule a nail day! So, her engagement ring photo featured her sister’s A hand instead. Classic move in our family! Fast forward two years, she’s happily married, and I couldn’t be happier for them.

I love LOVE and all the little moments that make these stories special. Happy engagement season to everyone out there!

if you are local to San Antonio, go visit Crystal Le at Tutti Nail Bar. Look at this beautiful set she did for the Halloween! You can text Crystal at 210-595-1000. Link to her Instagram.

If you’re like me and can’t go to the salon for a full set (it is a whole long story), get a manicure or use my favorite brand of press-ons, the Impress Brand. They last me 3 weeks easily - but most people say 10 days to 2 weeks. Yup, this photo is me holding some washi (from my favorite washi brand Simply Gilded. Find a cute fall set of Impress press on nails here.

And call us when you get engaged!

XOXO Jennifer
